Es gilt, eine Ungerechtigkeit der Welt zu korrigieren: Die Liebe wird soviel mehr besungen als die Kunst. Dem will annette hollywood abhelfen und also hat sie ein Set für ein ART KARAOKE gestaltet. Man sitzt auf kleinen Hockern, farbig wie die Tupfen einer Palette, vor sich zwei Mikros in langen Pinseln versteckt, beliebte Liebeslieder rauschen auf, und nun muss man nur noch den mit beschwingtem Pinsel aufnotierten Text mitsingen, in dem durch eine kleine Vertauschung der Wörtchen "love" und "art" nun plötzlich die ganze Welt der Kunst zu huldigen scheint...

In the course of her untiring research at the threshold of high art and popular culture annette hollywood noticed that numerous pop songs eventually released as love songs were originally dedicated to art. Though, due to the problematic source, censorship carried out by the music industry is difficult to prove, at least the so-called “scissors in the head” lyricist seems to have made sure that the word “art” is replaced with the word “love”. In art karaoke the unreleased original versions are finally made accessible, so that through Re-enactment lost stories can be brought to life, giving back to art the acknowledgement it was due.
